Three BHC Members Selected For England Duty

It’s been a great week for international hockey news this week, with not one, not two, but THREE Bournemouth hockey members being selected to represent England.

In our junior section, Nick Nurse’s hockey achievements go from strength to strength, with his latest accolade… being selected for the final 26 for the England u16 squad!!

An amazing achievement and fully deserved for all his commitment to improve all aspects of his game.
We wish him well as he plays and trains over the coming months with the squad and works towards selection (fingers crossed) for the 6 Nations tournament in July.

And then in our ladies section, two experienced players, Pip Woods and Helen Parr-Phillips have both been selected for the England Women’s Masters Over 45 squad. They will get the opportunity to represent England in both the Home Nations & World Cup (Barcelona) tournaments this year!!

Our best wishes go to all three players as they do their country, club, friends and family proud. Go smash it!
