Membership Forms

New members must complete all sections of the membership form.

This is important so we can ensure we have contact information for emergencies and can share relevant health information with coaches.

All current members need to complete just the minimum information on the membership form and advise us if anything has changed since last year especially health issues, mobile numbers and email addresses.

The membership form can be downloaded here (starts automatic download of word.doc)

Junior Kit Details

As a club we are constantly striving to smarten our club image during matches and training.

We encourage all players/families to invest in the kit we source from our local supplier, Star Sportswear.

The minimum kit a player should have is:
– club shorts or skort
– club shirt
– club socks

We expect all players to wear correct kit when representing the club.

To view the full selection visit Star Sportswear at 879-881 Wimborne Road, Moordown, Bournemouth, BH9 2BJ, tel: 01202 522519.

In addition a number of parents drive past the shop on a regular basis and will happily pick up any kit so it can be given out at training.

Please note that we have included a plain black baselayer on our kit list. This is not regulation, however, if baselayers are worn they must be plain black only.

All embroidery and printing is done by the shop and kit is normally available within a week from order.

All shirt numbers are controlled by the club to minimise duplicates and we always aim to give siblings the same number to enable kit to be passed down.

When you contact the shop they will issue a number to be printed on the shirt along with your child’s last name.

All shirts should have family names printed not first names or nicknames.

Juniors Playing Adult Hockey

Juniors who are 13 and over are eligible to play adult hockey in our ladies and men’s teams on Saturdays.

Juniors playing on Saturdays will need to pay a £5 match fee but there are no additional annual subs.

If you are interested in knowing more please contact Gavin or Kevin.

New or Return to Hockey Wednesdays

We are piloting an initiative for children new or returning to hockey who feel they need some time and space with a coach to practice the basics before joining their normal age group training.

No booking needed just speak to the coach or coordinator nearest the gate. This is open to school years 6+.

Thinking About Joining The Club

New children are welcome to attend 3 training sessions before making a decision to join the club.

To ensure children are insured there is a £20 fee for the trial sessions which is deducted from their annual subscription if you join.

New members joining between Jan-Mar will pay half annual subs.
