After beating Havant in the Hampshire Cup on Monday, Bournemouth U18 Boys took on Marlow in the National Cup Final on Saturday 12th May. BHC Ladies Invitational Draw 2-2 with England Masters O45s

Saturday 12th was a momentous day for Bournemouth Hockey Club, as we were honoured to host an invitational game against the England Masters Over 45 ladies. With two of BHC members selected for the England Masters squad, Pip Woods and Helen Parr-Phillips, we were delighted to welcome the whole squad for a competitive game at Chapel Gate, as part of the International team’s warm up to the Home Nations tournament in Swansea (7-10 June). England Hockey Super 6s Coming to Bournemouth Hockey Club

We are delighted to announce that Bournemouth Hockey Club will play host to the local round of this year’s England Hockey Summer 6s championship. Bournemouth will be just one of 12 clubs hosting a stage of the tournament, which is happening across the country. The local round will be held on Sunday June 17th at Bournemouth Sports Club, Chapel Gate. Matches will take place between 11am and 5pm. Meet this season’s England and Scotland Masters men who are representing their country at tournaments home and away this summer. Sandy Macdonald, Scotland Over 65s For the first time in his career Sandy Macdonald will be playing for Scotland’s Over 65 team. He recently played in the Celtic Cup in Lille (20-22 April) as part of the “Great Grand Masters” team who finished second behind Wales. Last night members of Bournemouth Hockey Club celebrated the end of another successful season on home turf at Chapel Gate. As chairman and treasurer for the club Ian Barber stepped up to announce this season’s club awards, with the help of GB U21 International, and former BHC junior Tim Nurse.
