Women and Girls Softball Cricket in Dorset this summer

Ladies, do you fancy softball cricket this summer? 🏑➡️🏏?

Softball cricket is a fun but competitive version of cricket and Bournemouth Cricket Club is looking for more female players.

Women’s cricket is growing rapidly in Dorset. Last summer there were lots of festivals at local clubs. Players ranged from girls aged 12 to a grandmother over 70 who proceeded to whack the ball for six!

Softball cricket festivals will be held at local clubs on Sundays and aim to have a fun, friendly, and family atmosphere.

The rules of Softball cricket are different to hardball cricket and they allow players to learn the skills of cricket whilst playing games.
