Adult Membership Fees
All payments to the club for membership will be handled via Spond for the 2025/2026 season. Further details will be available in the Spond app when you register.
Match fees will continue to be taken by your team captain or team representative on a weekly basis.
Membership Fees 2025/2026 Season
SENIOR membership
- Adult members: £255 for the season (plus £15 match fee per game)
- Higher education students*: £145 for the season (plus £8 match fee per game)
*If you are a member of a Bournemouth University Hockey team you may benefit from a subsidised membership fee. Please discuss this with your BU hockey captain before registering.
*You may not be eligible for match selection if the club hasn’t received membership forms and payments. If you need to discuss payment options please speak to BHC Chairman, Ian Barber. His details can be found here.
Match Fees
ADULT members will be expected to pay £15 match fees per game.
18+ HIGHER EDUCATION STUDENT/UNI members will be expected to pay £8 match fees per game.
(Juniors playing in adult league fixtures will be expected to pay £8 match fees per game)
Please arrange payments with your captain.
Match Kit
Please may sure you have purchased a playing shirt, shorts/skort and socks for Saturday league games.
Final details on how to purchase for the 2024/2025 season are being finalised – please speak to your team or club captain until details are posted here.
Registration
All members need to register with Spond. Details will be shared with you via your Club Captain or Team Captain.
All members will also need to complete England Hockey’s Game Management player form.
By registering players it ensures we have current contact details that the Club can share with its Coaches and Team Captains in order to facilitate the smooth running of the Club and efficient communications regarding teams, matches and events.
Player Agreement
By becoming an adult member of Bournemouth Hockey Club you will be expected to consent to the following statements during your registration:
I understand that Bournemouth Hockey Club will share the data supplied with its coaches, team coordinators, welfare officer & Committee members as required to facilitate the smooth running of the club and efficient communications regarding teams, matches and events.
For sponsorship purposes, your details may be used for sponsor communications, but they will come directly from Bournemouth Hockey Club. Your data will not be sold directly to a sponsor.
I understand the importance of timely payments of membership fees and match fees to the successful running of the Club and will endeavour to pay in a timely manner.
In the event that I am injured I give my permission for the Club to arrange any necessary treatment, including calling Emergency Services if required. I also understand that while coaches and club personnel will take every precaution, they cannot necessarily be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered.
I acknowledge that Bournemouth Hockey Club strongly recommends that all players wear a suitable mouth guard and shin pads (and any other protective equipment) when participating in hockey activities, but the Club is not responsible for ensuring players comply.
I am aware that photographs and videos may be taken by Club representatives during training, matches and Club events, and that these may be used in Club promotional publications, the Club website and the Club’s Members Only social media accounts (e.g. Bournemouth HC Members Facebook Group*). The Club cannot be held responsible for other players taking photographs and sharing them on social media.
