Adult FAQs

Membership fees are collected every season to cover your membership to Bournemouth Sports Club. This fee also helps to pay for coaching, the use and maintenance of hockey club facilities and insurances.

Adults – £255 for the season + £15 match fees per game
Students (non BU Hockey players) – £145 for the season + £8 match fees per game

If you play league matches, you will also be expected to pay match fees which contribute towards match teas and the running of the hockey section.

**You may not be eligible for match selection if the club hasn’t received membership forms and payments.

All payments to the club for membership will be handled via Spond for the 2025/2026 season. Further details will be available in the Spond app when you register.

Match fees will continue to be taken by your team captain or team representative on a weekly basis.

September through to March only

Ladies club night – TUESDAYS 19:15 to 21:30 (squad dependent). Session includes specialist GK coaching on alternate weeks.

Men’s club night – THURSDAYS 19:30 to 21:30

*Junior members aged 13 and over could be invited to adult club training. This is at the discretion of the club coaches and captains.
