Junior FAQs

U18s: £215 for the season (which includes match fees for junior games). If your child plays for adult teams on a Saturday they will be expected to pay £8 match fee per game.

U10s: £180 for the season (which includes match fees)

U8s: £125 for the season (which includes match fees)

Payments will be handled via the Spond app for the 2025/2026 season. Details will be available when you register your child and fees have been finalised.

Please note: Your child/children may not be eligible for match selection if the club hasn’t received membership forms and payments.

New members joining between Jan-Mar will pay half annual subs.

A sibling discount of 20% is offered for the third and additional children.

We offer training evenings for six different age groups during the week.

Tues 18:30 – 19:30 Girls U14  (*19:30 – 21:30 ladies club training)
Wed 18:30 – 19:45 U10s mixed   
Wed 19:45 – 21:30 U16/18 training (girls/boys alternate weeks)
Thurs 18:30 – 19:45 Boys U12
Thurs 18:30 – 19:55 Boys U14   (*19:45 – 21:30 men’s club training)

As a club we are constantly striving to smarten our club image during matches and training.

We encourage all players/families to invest in match kit.

The minimum kit a player should have is:
– club shorts or skort
– club shirt
– club socks

We expect all players to wear correct kit when representing the club.

Other items like jumpers, bobble hats and coats can be purchased from our local supplier, Star Sportswear.

Please note that we have included a plain black baselayer on our kit list. This is not regulation, however, if baselayers are worn they must be plain black only.

All shirt numbers are controlled by the club to minimise duplicates and we always aim to give siblings the same number to enable kit to be passed down.

All shirts should have family names printed not first names or nicknames.

Juniors who are 13 and over are eligible to play adult hockey in our ladies and men’s teams on Saturdays.

Juniors playing on Saturdays will need to pay a match fee but there are no additional annual subs.

We are piloting an initiative for children new or returning to hockey who feel they need some time and space with a coach to practice the basics before joining their normal age group training.

No booking needed just speak to the coach or coordinator nearest the gate. This is open to school years 6+.

New children are welcome to attend 3 training sessions before making a decision to join the club.

To ensure children are insured there is a £20 fee for the trial sessions which is deducted from their annual subscription if you join.
